Description
The Current Sensor 8×3A is perfectly suited as an occupancy detector. As soon as a vehicle draws current in the monitored section, this is detected and a signal is sent on. You can either send this to the command station via an s88-N feedback module, or evaluate the signal directly with an LED. This also allows you to implement, for example, red illumination on a track diagram control panel. Thanks to the spring terminals, our current sensor modules can be wired quickly and easily. With a total load capacity of 3 A, the Current Sensor 8×3A is suitable for H0 (2- and 3-rail), TT, N and Z scales and supports all common digital systems (DCC, Motorola, MFX, Selectrix, etc.).
The current sensor module has eight outputs and is used wherever several track sections need to be monitored.

If only individual outputs are needed, we recommend the Current Sensor 1×3A (Item no. 03001).
Note: the current sensor does not support analogue operation!
